Datalogix and TiVo Announce the Launch of DLX TV powered by TRA®

This week Datalogix announced the launch of DLX TV which will give digital media buyers the ability to reach consumers online via display and video based on programs watched on TV. BrightRoll CEO and Founder, Tod Sacerdoti is quoted in the release:

This is a game-changer – marketers can now accurately define and reach video viewing audiences based on their TV consumption habits plus offline purchase behavior,” said Tod Sacerdoti, CEO and founder of BrightRoll. “TRA brings the set-top data, DLX brings the online integration and modeling and BrightRoll serves it all up to over 100 million online viewers each month.”

TubeMogul Expands into Canada, Makes Case for Video RTB

The article refereces the 2012 BrightRoll VIdeo Adertising report:
“In fact, digital video advertising can be equally or more effective than TV, say 64% of advertisers responding to a BrightRoll survey released in June 2012. An even greater proportion see digital video as equally or more effective than display (87%) and social media (69%). Digital video’s effectiveness appears to be driven by its targeting capabilities, which 43% cite as its most valuable aspect. As a result, the use of behavioral targeting by agencies in online video campaigns will increase by 24% this year, with two-thirds saying that more than 40% of their online video ads will be behaviorally targeted.”
